Graniteville is a small community, but there are few notable destinations located here. There are several great shopping destinations found in the community, including This and That Shop which offers antiques and other unique finds. The Graniteville area is part of a humid subtropical climate zone. At the beginning of the year, the region will experience a mild winter with average high temperatures into the 50s. However, overnight lows will fall to the freezing point, making it important that residents invest in a heat pump or furnace to utilize during these times. Fortunately, these systems can be turned off relatively quickly, as spring is warm and starts early.

Summers in Graniteville are very hot and humid, with temperatures easily reaching the 90s or even hotter. Most residents will utilize central air conditioning units to stay cool during these months and to reduce allergens circulating through their homes. The autumn months are warm but comfortable, and this is a great time to have home heating systems serviced with the colder winter months on the horizon.
