About New Ellenton, SC - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

New Ellenton, South Carolina is found within the Augusta, GA Metro Area, and it is situated in Aiken County. As of 2010, the population had exceeded 2,000 residents. New Ellenton was created by the citizens of a former farming town known as Ellenton, as residents of this town were asked to relocate after President Truman designated the area for the production of hydrogen bombs in 1950. New Ellenton is located about 10 miles from Aiken, 17 miles from Augusta, GA, and 24 miles from Barnwell.

Although New Ellenton is a small community, there are a few notable things to see and do in the area. There are some great specialty shops located here, including Brenda’s Balloons, Flowers, and Gifts, Town and Country Pharmacy, and Green’s Christian Book Store. Golf is popular in this community, and while the New Ellenton Golf Course is located in the city itself, other nearby courses include the Cedar Creek Golf Club and the Carolina Golf Range in neighboring Aiken. New Ellenton is also a popular destination for visitors looking to indulge in some BBQ and comfort food, as Carolina Bar-B-Que and Duke’s Bar-B-Que are both located here.

Residents of New Ellenton will want to have adequate climate control systems in place and take advantage of an experienced HVAC professional to ensure that they are serviced properly. Hot and humid summer months will require the use of central air to keep residents comfortable, and while winters are mild, overnight lows can fall to below freezing, warranting the use of a heat pump or furnace. By investing in the services of an HVAC technician annually to give these appliances a thorough checkup, residents will keep their home heating/cooling costs affordable while ensuring that the systems work properly ahead of time. This can prevent the need for expensive future problems and repairs.
