ENERGY STAR®

• All Comfort™ 92, Performance™ 93 and Infinity™ 96 gas furnaces are ENERGY STAR® compliant.

These preventative maintenance agreements come in two levels

"No Nonsense" Level 1:

With this agreement, you receive one (1) maintenance visit per year, typically scheduled in the Spring.  Carolina HVAC with check all facets of your heating and air conditioning units.  Your filters will be cleaned or replaced.  We will also clean condenser coils and test all running units for Carbon Monoxide.  If you have a gas heating system, the heat exchanger will be checked also.  Freon levels will be inspected as well. 

Cost: $95.00 per year and it will be billed when we come to your home for your annual servicing.  Should you have more than one (1) HVAC system in your home, we will pro-rate the second and following systems at $47.50 per system.  For example if your home would have two (2) HVAC systems, the total would be $142.50/year.

"No Nonsense" Level 2:

With this agreement, you receive two (2) maintenance visits per year, typically scheduled in the Spring and Fall.  Carolina HVAC with check all facets of your heating and air conditioning units during both visits. Each time we come, your filters will be cleaned or replaced.  We will inspect your air conditioning system and clean condenser coils in the Spring and inspect your heating system for proper operation during the Fall visit.  All running units will be tested for Carbon Monoxide.  If you have a gas heating system, the heat exchanger will be checked also.  Freon levels will be inspected as well. 

Cost: $170.00 per year and it will be billed in two (2) payments of $85.00 each when we come to your home for your semi-annual servicing.  Should you have more than one (1) HVAC system in your home, we will pro-rate the second and following systems at $42.50 per system, per visit.  For example if your home would have two (2) HVAC systems, the total would be $255.00/year.

IMPORTANT NOTE:  Since the cost of Freon continues to rise, the cost of these agreements DOES NOT include the price of any Freon needed.  As always we will not repair or replace any part of your HVAC system without providing you an accurate estimate of the cost and your permission to conduct the repair.

**Note: As of January 2012, our prices for service agreements have increased, from their previous amounts. See below for our reasoning behind this change:

We have been aggressively researching ways to operate more efficiently as a business. Recently, we did a financial analysis of Carolina HVAC and here is what we found. During the spring and fall we were actually losing money when we were servicing the Heating and cooling systems of our Customers. We would like to continue to offer our services in this way, but, with the state of the economy, we can’t continue offering a service if we don’t bring the necessary cash flow. In response to the analysis we decided to increase our rates to improve profitability. Details:
• Instead of the Level 1 servicing Costing $80.00, it will now cost $95.00 the additional units will be pro-rated to $47.50 up from the $40.00 that it was previously.
• Instead of the Level 2 semi-annual servicing costing $70.00 per visit, it will now cost $85.00 the additional units will be pro-rated to $42.50 up from the $35.00 that it was previously.

Each of these agreements will make you a preferred customer which entitles you to a special privilege...  Should you have a HVAC failure, you will be pushed to the head of the line!  We will take care of our "No Nonsense" customers first!
